This page presents some of the music and television personalities I enjoy listening to and watching. For some strange reason, they're all women and brunnette. Well, I'm not going to delve too far into that.

I'm a big fan of Paula Abdul's. I even had to see her concert twice back in 1993.Who knows if she'll ever release another album.:(

Here are some Paula pages of interest:

I think Teri Hatcher is an incredible actress. She alone is reason enough to keep up-to-date with Lois & Clark. (L&C was canceled by the Awful Broadcasting Company, but TBS is showing reruns.) She also made a great appearance hosting Saturday Night Live in early 1996. I've also seen her hold her own on David Letterman. I look forward to any film she's in, like "2 Days in the Valley" (now on tape) and the Bond flick "Tomorrow Never Dies". There are so many sites dedicated to her on the web that it's pointless for me to reference them here. Teri's been out of the limelight for a while now, but I hope it's only temporary. I did catch a performance of Cabaret in Chicago in 1999 and I thought she was pretty good. About the only thing new I've seen her in lately are a series of Radio Shack commercials: certainly not as good as the Bally's spots of a few years back. Check out www.teri.net.

Next up is Soledad O'Brien. You used to be able to see her nightly on MSNBC's "The Site". These days, though, we have to settle for Saturday and Sunday mornings with her hosting Morning Blend on MSNBC. There are so many things to like about Soledad, but one of them has got to be because she's a Macintosh user (always a sign of class). She has her own web page though I can no longer find it. Incredibly enough, I emailed Soledad once about her web page and television show and I received an email response later that day! Check out this site.

Now we come to Elizabeth Vargas. Elizabeth is no longer a part of Good Morning America–where I first noticed her. Is it just coincidence that I no longer watch GMA and have switched to NBC's Today? I believe she can be seen on some version of ABC's 20/20.

Sandra Bullock. Enough said. Actually, I could say I'm looking forward to 28 Days.I could also say I really enjoyed Practical Magic and every thing else she's been in. She did a very funny cameo on the short-lived TV series Action. She used a Macintosh PowerBook in The Net.Someday I'm sure she'll read this and want to email me. :)

Jennifer Lopez has appeared in U-Turn, Selena, and other films but started out as a fly girl on the TV series In Living Color.

This is Neve Campbell. You probably recognize her from TV's Party of Five, but I know her best from The Craft, Scream (one, two and three), and Wild Things (my most favorite movie of all time).

Denise Richards was in Starship Troopers, but I have to say that her best work to-date has been with Neve Campbell in Wild Things (my most favorite movie of all time, did I mention that yet?). Oh and wasn't she also a Bond woman?

Yasmine Bleeth is also pretty swell. Of course she's known for Baywatch, but I don't hold that against her.

I've always thought that Laura San Giocomo was good in whatever she appeared in. I just wished I liked Just Shoot Me better.

Catherine Zeta-Jones was good in The Mask of Zorro (even if she's not really a latina) and Entrapment .

Alyssa Milano has turned into quite a stunner since her stint on Who's the Boss? She left Melrose Place in 1998 but you can now see her on the WB's Charmed (the premise is good, but the writing is weak last I watched).

My newest favorite is Lucy Liu from Ally McBeal. As Ling I find her positively captivating. I just found out that she attended the Universiy of Michigan probably while I was there. How did I manage to miss that? Oh well, I'm sure she would have had me for breakfast. On the other hand...

There must always be an exception that proves the rule. In this case, I have two exceptions to the brunette rule.

Sarah Michelle Gellar is outstanding in my current favorite television series Buffy the Vampire Slayer. If you haven't seen BtVS, then I bet it's only because of the title. You honestly have no idea the quality of the writing you're missing. (I've been trying to evangelize the series to friends with little luck.)

Maria Bello was in Mr. and Mrs. Smith (I bet you haven't seen that), but why did she have to leave E.R? Oh, to make movies, that's right. Oh well.
